Another great stay at Florentine family motel. Excellent location(beach block), extremely clean rooms and property, staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. Can’t say enough about this motel…that’s why we keep coming back (over 19 years now). If you’re looking for a place to stay, they have various size rooms to accommodate. Motel is focused on families , and ensuring they have a great vacation. Highly recommend Florentine Family Motel!

My husband and I have come to Florentine Family Motel for 10 years now and always loved coming here. The motel rooms and efficiencies are always clean and the cleaning staff is always on top of things. The owners are there if you have questions or need anything. There are handouts given and questions answered when you arrive for your stay or if you call to book a stay - they want you to have a wonderful time and know the rules. We love the Florentine and will go back as long as we can♥️

Beach block makes this a great location. Rooms have been modernized, are well kept and the price is reasonable. The owners and their staff are all friendly and very accommodating. The Florentine is very clean and the owners are on-site to keep everything running smoothly. Jim & Shannon went out of their way to offer their assistance even offering the use of a lift to help my special-needs son into the pool! This is a family oriented motel so of course they don't condone disruptive, obnoxious behavior, which is greatly appreciated! Already pre-booked for next year!

Positives: Room was clean upon arrival, AC worked, staff was very friendly, helpful whenever we needed, pool was nice! Provided amenities were as expected, microwave and fridge both worked. Location is one block from the boardwalk, it’s probably about a mile total from your room to the ocean. Negatives: Room was not very big, and the bathroom was unbearably tiny. There was not enough room to dry off after a shower. The TV was tiny and the remote barely worked. The ceiling fan creaked loudly if on anything other than the lowest setting. The toilet would clog if you used more than a few sheets of toilet paper, and that’s not an exaggeration. This all would’ve been manageable if the price reflected it, but I paid almost $1000 for a 5 day stay, and it was after Labor Day so it wasn’t peak season at all. There was only one busy day while I was here. The place desperately needs updating to make the space decent. You can’t change the layout obviously at this point, but take some time in the off season and do some upgrades, put in better TV’s, new ceiling fans, fresh coat of paint, make what you’ve got better at least. Basically, at less than $100 a night the Florentine would be acceptable, but any more than that and you should look elsewhere in my opinion, given it’s current state.

We have been going to the Florentine for many years now, I believe around 10. Jim and Shannon the owners are absolutely the best. They go above and beyond for the guests and so does the staff. We also go multiple times during the year. Love that they have quiet time. Everything is always so clean. They make it a safe place for you and your family. It is block from the boardwalk. What more could you ask for!!! if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Absolutely love florentine!! Been going there for a week every summer for the past 15 years. Jim and Shannon are very pleasant to deal with!! Only a block of the boardwalk which I love because my car doesn't move the entire week except to go to the cape may zoo. Rooms are very clean and well sanitized! Plus all the bonus workers there are very friendly and pleasant to talk to so you never feel unwelcome!!!!!
